Matte liquid lipsticks are such a huge hit for the past months, and I think on the following months as well. They are super pigmented, pretty colors and super long lasting. The downside, it's hard to remove.
So I've struggled in removing my matte lippies specially when I'm not at home, or basically after I ate oily or saucy foods. And sometimes, even if the lippie you have is supposed to be long lasting, the inner part of your lips still get smudged when you eat. And I have to admit, some of these type of liquid lipstick is not great if you use it for touch up, sometimes you really need to remove everything from your lips and re-apply. And to be honest, even if I use a wet wipes, it doesn't do the job as good. Other make-up companies even have a dedicated lip product to remove such liquid lipstick, because again it is super long lasting.
If you are on a budget, or on the go and you don't have your make-up remover with you, you only need to things: TISSUE and LIP BALM/petroleum jelly. These are two things you probably have on you bag.
As seen on the video, you only have to apply your lip balm, wait for 1-2 minutes, then remove it with your tissue, and whola.. clean lips. You can now apply again your liquid lipstick, or change the shade.
BTW, the lipstick I'm using is by LA Girl Matte Flat pigment gloss in Rebel.
Hope this helps. -iana :)
